Development of Web application for Smart Manufacturing

This project aims to, transforming conventional factories into intelligent factories, to achieve maximized output and flexibility while ensuring the quality requirements are met. As the first step in this direction, we have developed a web-enabled application that can monitor each event of manufacturing facility based on real-time data. The system continuously stores the acquired data in a remote server in real-time. A data analysis algorithm processes the real-time data in the server and determines the current status and OEE of the manufacturing facilities. Other algorithm helps in optimizing scheduling and reducing in-process inventory. It also helps it in taking a smart real-time decision of production planning. This system is scalable and can be extended to include every machine in all the manufacturing facilities of a company irrespective of production layout and facilities available.
