This project aims to provide a leading Indian aerospace manufacturer (HAL) with remote, secure, real-time monitoring and analytics of the status and effectiveness of machines on the shop floor.
A typical shop-floor manager cannot monitor each machine individually. Various decisions related to the purchase of parts/tools, replacement of the machine, signing-up new projects etc. depend on the OEE of the machine. IoT based solution looks promising in this regard and can provide the manager with secure real-time and historical information with just a few clicks from anywhere in the world.
IIoTs were deployed on each machine to gather real-time operational data. Advanced analytics is done on such data to find machine state and diagnostics. Smart web application enables the different level of authorized access, live status of the plant, Rise maintenance quarry and other plant management and support system. User can see yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily statistics considering any single machine or group of machines. User can short machines based on their efficiencies. Integrated ERP system helps in maintaining and tracking shift calendar and jobs using RFID tags. On certain user-defined events, automated communication with staff can be initiated using SMS, and even user can escalate issues. User can get a report on SMS. A dashboard of a web application is user-friendly and can decide a number of the machine he/she wants to target in a single view.
